Main Herd SIre Blelack Black Magic G745

Black Magic is a son of Blackstock and is a big strong powerful bull. We bought him mainly to add size to our commercial cows but he will also sweep the pure cows after AI.  His size, bone, power and length will hopefully mesh very well with our thick cows.

At Scholland we have used many top AI sires to develop and improve our herd.  Initially Dalrene Cruz, Netherton Fabulous Cruz and The Moss Florian have been used, information on all these sires is available on Nethertons website.

More recently we have used the following sires:

Rawburn Transformer.  A well proven sire with tremendous performance figures, he has been used to produce hard working females in our herd.

Rawburn Echester.  A son of the much admired Hoff Limited Edition. He was purchased by Galawater Angus and has self replacing and terminal index values in the top 5% of the breed.  We have used him to flush Skaill Diana E355 and look forward to his first calves in October 2008.

Nightingale Ernie. Stock bull at Blelack and sire of bulls up to 16,000 gns. 

Blelack Lord Hornblower. Consistent breeder and sired by the impressive Aberan DMM Decision.  Hornblower has produced many show winners and high priced bulls.
