Herd Sires For 2010

AI sires used in 2010 are:

Netherallan Peter Pershore - Blelack stock bull whose first crop of sons sold so well at Stirling in February 2010.

Yougdale Superior - Semen rights purchased by Blelack, half sister sold by Rawburn for 11,000gns.

Rawburn Echester - Top eye muscle area sire and sire of our Diana flush which includes Scholland Diana J406 2009 Black Beauty Bonanza Heifer calf Champion. (see latest news).

Main Herd SIre Blelack Black Magic G745

Black Magic is a son of Blackstock and is a big strong powerful bull. We bought him mainly to add size to our commercial cows but he will also sweep the pure cows after AI.  His size, bone, power and length will hopefully mesh very well with our thick cows. 

At Scholland we have used many top AI sires to develop and improve our herd.  Initially Dalrene Cruz, Rawburn Transformer, Nightingale Ernie and Blelack Lord Hornblower have been used.
